HR ladies were very nice. The managers I interviewed with were 100% "Mean Girls"/"Heathers" experience; it was extremely clear from the get go that I was not being considered and the female interviewing me was downright and frankly beyond rude. I was shocked at how she treated me in the interview. Apparently when I explained that a decision made by my company's CFO based on conditions caused by both the market and the pandemic was not in my control, she let me know that it was my failure (as a low level admin) that caused the decision and that executive-shaming and blaming was not acceptable in her company. That was only ONE example of several such verbal attacks. The interview was more like being grilled as a defendant for a crime rather than interviewing for a job. I withdrew my application as a result of this interview. Also, throughout the whole process they kept telling me it was a Fintech company - no, not even close, it's marketing and advertising for Fintech companies. Your customers being Fintech doesn't make YOU Fintech.
