      Entretien pour Client Service Associate

      10 déc. 2018
      Employé (anonyme)
      Austin, TX
      Offre acceptée
      Expérience positive
      Entretien difficile

      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez GLG (Austin, TX) en nov. 2018

      Entretien

Overall, things could've been improved yet the interview process was a positive experience for me. The first round consisted of two phone calls with employees, back to back. The employee will call you. Each phone call was about 20 minutes long, but the second phone interviewer was 10 mins late because of a misunderstanding. The first and second interviews were slightly different. While the first interviewer mainly asked my interest and knowledge about the company, the second interviewer seemed to ask more behavioral questions. It seemed like they want candidates who strive for a hard work and really understand the company's business model. As I was informed that I passed the first round interview, I got information from the second interview, which is a case study. The recruiter contacted me when I would be available to work on the case study, so make sure you have a full, uninterrupted access to the internet for the whole hour. As soon as the time to work on the case started, the recruiter sent me a file that consisted of the information. It may seem to provide limited information, but be sure to read instructions as throughly as you can and know your reasoning behind your responses, as the final interview will ask several questions about the case study. Take advantage of the time given to you, as you're encouraged to fully use the hour you have. Several days after the case study was over, I had a final round interview, which consisted of three 30 minute back to back interviews. I'm not local to Austin, TX so I had a virtual interview. As the interview progressed, the title of the interviewer was in a higher position (e.g., Team lead in the first one and vice president for the last one), meaning that you have to make your best attempt to stay awake and present yourself professionally in the last one the most. I reviewed the case study with one of the interviewers, and the other two asked a lot of behavioral questions that could be relevant to job responsibilities. Several weeks later, I got a call that I am offered the job. It took about 5~6 weeks from the start of the first round interview to the job offer, so it's a long process. When you think you've waiting a lot to hear a response from them, don't panic and keep what you're doing. For the first and final rounds of interviews, it's highly encouraged to take notes about the business model, interviewers, and anything you learned about the company. They seek candidates who are curious, willing to learn and actually do learn eagerly. Read the job description between lines, as it's a very helpful cheat sheet to learn about the job. I really learned a lot from the Glassdoor reviews, and thanks Glassdoor for helping me out throughout the job process! Hope my review helps others who are interested in applying for this company.

They moved me pretty fast in the interview process I thought I did very well they were impressed by my case study and unfortunately I did not make the final round. The first round was a phone call recruiter screen then they gave me a case study to complete, and then they set up a case study review interview

First, the recruiter emailed me asking for my available time slots for the interview. I went into the link they sent me and picked ten upcoming time slots. Then—nothing. A whole week went by with no reply. So just to give it another shot, I selected five more slots. Eventually, the interviewer picked the very last one I offered—the 15th slot. That was already weird, because I had given ten options upfront. If none of those worked, they could’ve just let me know and asked me to pick again. But no—they just vanished for a full week without a word. Then came the actual interview day. The interviewer was a complete no-show. Didn’t join at all. I even sent a follow-up email, but got zero response. Just ghosted. That’s incredibly unprofessional. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone interview at this company
