J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez GCS Technologies (Austin, TX) en mars 2017
Entretien
Had a few phone interviews before they called me in. Had an in-person interview with two heads of the department. Half technical and half past experience. The technical questions ran the gamut and I probably got 50% correct - but they emphasized admitting you don't know if you don't know. That was cool and took some of the heat off. I guess I did fine with this interview because then I was asked to come back in for another interview with a "higher up". This interview was very laid back and he was just the guy to give the thumbs up or thumbs down. After this there were some email exchanges and a few phone calls and they said they were going to check previous managers. They did this then put me off for a week or so. When it got around to being about 3:00 then 4:00 on Friday I knew they were going to push out an email at the end of their day telling me quickly and quietly that I didn't get the job - typical corporate theory that firing or telling people they didn't get a job is best done on a Friday late in the day (reason being you would have time to cool off over the weekend). So that part wasn't cool at all and I saw it coming from a mile away.
Besides that they were very professional and I would say did a pretty good job of keeping me updated (until the end there). This was a positive experience and I would interview there again. I was a little heartbroken because i really wanted this and I felt that I had done so well and could then just feel the rug pulled from under my feet.
