Had an initial phone Interview with a recruiter and then a hiring manager a few days after. The interview with the hiring manager was mostly general past experience questions, nothing technical. I was given a coding challenge after the interview, which was to code a simple one page brochure website. Spent most of my Sunday on the coding challenge and sent it in. Didn’t hear back for a week, so I followed up with the hiring manager. It has been almost a month, two follow up emails and still crickets. Very unprofessional. I expect at least a rejection email especially after I spent my Sunday working on a coding challenge.
