J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Frontier Airlines (Chicago, IL) en oct. 2013
Entretien
I applied online and maybe about two months later received an email notifying me of open houses in Chicago and Denver. I drove 9 hours to attend. It started at 7am out by O'Hare airport at an Embassy Suites. Be prepared for awful traffic on the way there. I left at 6 and didn't arrive til 5 minutes before 8. Do not be late , they will not let you in past 8AM. There was about 50 of us in a room and they spoke about the job and benefits, pay, etc. You will learn how low this job pays and how you are basically powerless over your schedule at first. If you still want to stay you go into a room that was assigned to you. There was about 15 of us in the room and a cup filled with questions. One by one we went up to pick a question and answer it in front of the class. There were 3 rounds. Most of these questions were "Tell me about a time you took initiative at work" experience related questions. After that is done they ask you to tell a bit about yourself and why you want to be a flight attendant. I would suggest sounding very passionate about this because this is your one shot to say what you want. I didn't gush as much about how this is my dream job and I think that was my downfall. Then they tell you to get lunch and come back , there were 2 hours to kill which was a little brutal for people that weren't going to be on the list hours later. Nothing was open for lunch as it was only 10:30. If your name is on the list you go upstairs for further interviewing but my name was not on the list and I went home. You pay $5 for parking after they give you a voucher. Overall it was an OK experience but nothing great. They forgot to bring speakers so we didn't even watch the video presentation... The whole thing is kind of meh.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
All pretty basic. Tell me about a time you took initiative. Tell me about a time you worked in a team for a project where someone wasn't pulling their weight. If a team member complained about you to management what would you do? Would you brush it aside or take the criticism, etc.
