The recruiter does a screening and invite you for a 1st 1/2 hour virtual meeting with your potential supervisor. That part was super easy and brief. After that I was invited to another virtual meeting, with the same supervisor and a technical person that apparently has the role of pre sales. If you are a senior sales person, you won't want to work with this technical guy. Since this is the first sales role in the company and they have been surviving on funding by investors and some sales through their managing director's network, the company is built around technical staff, so no sales orientation at all. Additional to this, this technical guy that interviewed me made very basic questions that let me to have the feeling that he has really no clue about selling. I would think twice about joining a start up, that is not even solid in their region but want to expand to US, with no sales orientation and lots of competitors in the market. After this meeting, I was invited to prepare a presentation, but I didn't want to continue in the process. Not a company for a senior sales person. An inexperienced sales person would be a better fit.
