I applied to Fractal through a referral and got into the first round, which primarily focused on aptitude reasoning, math, and English questions. This round was time-bound, with each section having a limited amount of time to complete. The scores were displayed at the end of the round. I received a message about my interview five days in advance, which gave me sufficient time to prepare.
The first round was technical, lasting about 15 minutes. During this round, they asked general questions, requested an introduction, and discussed my projects. Some of the questions were related to SQL, based on my projects. Due to the limited time, the coding questions ranged from easy to average difficulty.
Next, I was called for an HR round, which lasted about 30 minutes. The HR interviewer was polite and engaging. Again, I provided an introduction and explained my projects. The interviewer asked if I had any projects related to data processing, even though none were listed on my resume. I described a project I had worked on involving data preprocessing. The interviewer also asked some general questions about Fractal Analytics and my interest in AI and ML. This round concluded in about 10 minutes, with the interviewer appearing pleased with my responses and projects.
