Although the first two conversations (rounds) were amicable and professional—I actually enjoyed them—they were welcoming and hospitable. in the end, the decision was made not to send me an offer. When I asked for feedback, I got nothing back. The only feedback I received consisted of hearsay that the recruiter got from bumping into the hiring manager. Although the company has some of the brightest minds in the industry, I felt really bad about how this all ended. The communication abruptly stopped once it was decided not to make an offer, and I received zero feedback even after waiting for weeks on end.
