I applied online, got an email after 2 weeks to schedule a phone screen, the phone screen took about an hour, he asked a lot of basic networking and security questions. it was pretty straight forward stuff if you have done CCNA training. Then i got a call the same week for an in person interview in two weeks. The in person interview was with one engineer and the TAC manager, it took close to 3 hours, it was like the first phone screen but now they went into deep details, from TCP handshake to routing protocols to IPsec VPN tunnels, it was really deeper than i expected. So i knew i didn't prepare well enough for this round. so weeks went by and i didn't hear back from them, i emailed the hiring manager and he replied that they have not made a decision yet, so weeks when by again and out of nowhere i got an email asking for a second round of in-person interview, i knew this timei had to do better. It was still the same format but i did a lot of labs before the interview to refresh my skills especially in IPsec IKE VPN which i was not doing a lot of in my present job. So i went for the interview and came out on top this time. when i left after the interview i knew i had done well and they will get back to me lol. So before i got home from the location i got a call that i had aced the interview and that was it. Good preparation was everything
