      Entretien pour Senior Consultant

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Forrester en juil. 2017

      Entretien

Received email notification of intent to progress my application. Followed by 1 interview with a recruitment lead in India and 3 separate interviews with the hiring manager and team members. The process last than 8 weeks from initial contact (this was 5 weeks after the application). Communication has been sparse throughout. Really disappointing that after 4 rounds of interview the recruitment team fell silent rather than notify the outcome. They have now ignored calls and emails for 2 weeks.

      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Forrester (New Delhi) en sept. 2016

      Entretien

I received a call from linkedin application. The HR was fantastic to say the least- respectful, informative and very engaging. After a round of interview with the HR I was scheduled to be on a telephonic interview with the hiring manager based out of Singapore. Step 1 : I am skipping the HR round as I consider that to be more of a review of my profile and a confirmation of interest. The meeting with the hiring manager was scheduled for 45 minutes. It went really well (or it appeared to) . It was never a skill assessment interview rather a two way process Step 2 : Interview with Senior Consultant (based out of Singapore again), another high grade knowledge sharing exchange Step 3 : Interview with Sales Manager based out of India, here , the interview landscape mode tilted back to assessment but more of a profile assessment!, at the end the of it the business model, operations was so well explained that I thought I am already there, :) Step 4 : Interview with Research VP, this one was a little off the hook, but gradually the interviewer and me got engaged in a better dialogue bringing back the flavor of getting to know each other better Step 5 & 6 : Case presentation and Playbook presentation- this needed a lot of preparation and I guess I did justice to it! It was attended by several key folks in their New Delhi office and the hiring manager over VC Couple of folks the HR & the hiring manager deserves a lot of accolades for conducting such a smooth ( and long) process in the best way possible! The only change what might be needed is making those interviews a little longer to help candidates express themselves (it was way too short - 30 mins), also this meant that by the profile discussion is over you are done with the time.

      Questions d'entretien [2]

      Question 1

Profile review was the key part of the process, with each interviewer it took more than half of the time in walking through the profile Situational questions were the other key aspect, such as challenges, difficulty, etc. One interviewer went on to ask questions on research - primary & secondary Case questions : Very disappointing in that part, the folks on call hardly asked any questions, in the room there was just one VP he did ask a few questions and off course the hiring manager Playbook: Unfortunately the hiring manager was not familiar with the particular playbook (that might have hurt my chances, maybe) but the way he answered my questions ( though he knew by then that he is not recruiting me) was surreal and excellent
