Multiple behavioral interviews with managers and directors, never heard back from the recruiter after following up multiple times. Didn’t give a clear direction for scope of the role. Was extensive process for what the role was

I had a phone screen, I followed up, the recruiter didn’t close the look. A month later, received automated email. I’ve been out the job market a while so I’m not sure if this is normal practice.
