ZERO vetting. I could have gone in there with a resume that stated that I had a Harvard PhD in astrophysics and they would have taken it at face value. They didn’t check my references or do a background check either. How do you hire someone for a purchasing role without making sure they’ve never been convicted of financial crimes first? It’s just bad business! But then again, so is Focus Camera.
