J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Flexport en oct. 2020
Entretien
It's a long process, you do a 30 minute phone screening interview with the HR person first, if you pass you go straight to the top person of the area and he/she decides to move you along to interview with the rest of the team or not. You then interview with around 4 people: manager, analyst, senior analyst. The whole thing takes a month. I personally got a call from the HR professional to tell me they went with an internal candidate. I thought that was very professional.
The HR team is great, quick and responsive. Everyone I interviewed with seemed happy to work there. The company has a lot of cool perks. During the process, they offer to pair you up to connect with a random employee to ask questions and get insights, I thought that was really nice. Other reviews say the company feels like a white boy club, and after interviewing I'd say yes a little, but everyone was very polite and on time for interviews.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They do behavioral and technical questions depending on the role. At the beginning is more behavioral, and when you move along towards the process they become more test-like.
-What is your favorite area in Customs and why?
-Tell me 3 negative things and 3 positive things about yourself
-What would you do in the first 90 days here?
-How would you grow the business offering?
-What specifically have you worked on regarding ISF?
-How do you tackle a project in Customs? I want to see your thought process and how your brain works.
3 stage interview, one was 20 minutes late to attend. Probably indicative that i didn't get the job. They have likely made up their mind before attending the interview as the question q#were not that difficult.
