J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Flexport (San Francisco, CA) en juin 2019
Entretien
I applied for the role at the beginning of June and the HR department was extremely professional in getting back to me in a timely manner (quick turn arounds!). The interview process I went through was 3 rounds in total before I was rejected.
As most other candidates have described on glassdoor the very first round you go through is a one-sided video interview where you answer various questions that are provided to you 30 seconds prior, pretty simple STAR style interview questions.
After that you are reviewed and moved on to talk with a Flexport manager briefly (15 minutes). This is basic stuff just going through your resume and making sure that you are actually passionate about working for the company and you have a decent understanding of what the role entails.
The next step in the interview process is where things went slightly off the rails during my interview. Round 3 is a two hour zoom video conference. The first 30 minutes are dedicated to an interview with a current Data Operations Associate, the next hour is an interview/case study with a Global Operations Associate (the role directly above this position), and finally another 30 minutes with a senior figure in the company for whatever office you are applying for (whoever is available, my hunch). After my interview process was over I asked for specific feedback on why I was rejected because I thought all my interviews went quite well, and Flexport provided it (Bravo!).
I was told that I did quite well in the case study and should be proud of that fact, but overall I lacked questions to ask and did not show interest in the industry as well as displaying how my previous roles would be a good addition to the team. It is my understanding that people need not come from a logistics background to work at Flexport but it was hard to believe this statement once said and done with the interview process. My 2nd and 3rd Zoom video interviews were awesome and I am fairly certain I displayed passion and interest in the industry as well as knowledge based on my research of the company while preparing for the interview.
My 1st Zoom interview of the day was by far the worst as the associate seemed very preoccupied, didn't want to have a conversation and was more concerned with firing off standard interview questions at me than trying to talk with me and figure out if we would be good co-workers/why I wanted to work at Flexport in the first place. (This step in the hiring process needs improvement in my eyes and I would have tried to voice that regardless of whether or not I got the job.)
Questions d'entretien [3]
Question 1
Case Study about shipping a hypothetical company's goods with changing circumstances during the interview.
Lots of antiquated interview questions rattled off by the Data Ops associate...I thought they would end at a point and we would have a conversation about the company and details of the role but that time never came.

3 rounds, first is phone interview with basic introduction, second round is interview by junior, third round is a case interview with a supply chain scenario were you have to answer how you would deal with a problematic situation.
The process is good, the interviewer is nice. But I stopped at the fifth interview. Total took around 3 weeks to go through the interviews, plus 1-2 weeks for the application period.

Phone screening followed by 4 in person interviews. Mostly behavioral and one very easy case study to demonstrate your thought process. Experience was great overall and there were no tough technical questions.
