Entretien
Three rounds of interviews. First was a quick screening by HR, focus was "why Flexport?", "why are you a fit?"
Second round consisted of four different interviews with people at escalating levels of seniority. The first interview in this round was very conversational, mostly focused on what the day-to-day of the role looks like. Second interview was a case study, not one that you can really prepare for, which simulated they type of work you would be doing in the role. Again, it's not really easy to prepare for other than knowing the basics of logistics, they're really just looking to see how you think. Be sure to ask questions and explain your thought process while you're working. Final two interviews in this round were looking for cultural fit and very conversational.
Third round was with an exec, mostly focused on fit and why Flexport.

I had to go through a 'panel' interview and instead of speaking to two or three people at once, I had to have a video call with 4 different people over 5 sessions. If you are working full time, especially if it's full time in the office, this is absolutely ludicrous to demand this much time off from people to go to these interviews.

The interview went very well. It was a positive and remarkably straightforward discussion, creating a wonderfully friendly environment. I appreciated the clear questions and the honest, direct feedback provided throughout the entire engaging conversation.

It was great! Everyone was very nice and friendly. Everyone I talked to was helpful and they answered any questions I had. Although I did not get the job they were still very clear and forthcoming about it.
