I recently interviewed for the Client Success Director position. The initial stages of the process were smooth and quite positive. Communication was prompt, and the interviewers were professional and engaging. Each round provided a good opportunity to discuss my experience and understand the company's culture.
However, the final stage involved a presentation based on a real-life scenario. It felt as though this exercise might have been designed to gather free ideas, as others have also mentioned in their reviews. If the company wants to take their candidates seriously, I would highly encourage them to reconsider this approach.
Another unusual aspect was scheduling a call solely to communicate a rejection. The feedback given contradicted my CV and previous discussions, which left me feeling that it was perhaps not entirely genuine. This inconsistency gave the impression that the role might not actually exist, which is disappointing considering how positive the earlier stages were.
Advice to Management: Reevaluate the final presentation stage to ensure it adds value for both the candidate and the company. Providing consistent and genuine feedback would greatly enhance the candidate experience.
