I was completely impressed by the entire interview process. I was able to meet multiple members of the team and felt valued throughout. Everyone was extremely friendly and clearly passionate about the company's mission.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
They asked me about my past experience and about my current interest in Flatiron Health specifically. They focused a lot on how I might handle certain situations and how I have dealt with obstacles in the past.
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Flatiron Health (New York, NY) en juin 2016
Entretien
I was referred for the position, and was contacted within a couple of days by a recruiter and asked to complete a writing exercise. Two days after I submitted the exercise, I was contacted by another recruiter to coordinate an onsite interview. I was a little surprised that there was no phone screen. The onsite interview was scheduled for the following week. Throughout this process, the recruiters communicated clearly and promptly. I was told the onsite interview would be approximately 45-60 minutes long, but it ended up being less than 30. I met with two interviewers and was asked about my experience and some questions about how I would handle certain recruiting-related situations. I was surprised that I was never asked about why I wanted to work at the company or why I was interested in health care. I did not feel like the onsite interview was very thorough. The employee who referred me was told that I would not be getting an offer, and that I would be getting a phone call to follow up on the interview. I ended up not getting this call for several days after the interview, which I found a little disappointing. Eventually, after about six days, I spoke on the phone with one of the interviewers, and I felt a little more at ease about why I didn't get an offer.

Question 1
A candidate was scheduled for a Skype interview, but they showed up at the office thinking it was an onsite interview. Their interviewer is out of town. How would you handle this situation?

Applied online, was contacted a few days later to set up a Skype interview. Did a total of three Skype interviews. Flatiron was rather bad at follow-up. I was told I'd be contacted shortly to set up the next step, but had to email at least once (sometimes twice) a few days following my interview because I didn't hear anything. I felt the process took a lot longer than it should have.
After my first Skype interview, they had me do a take-home assignment in which I gave email responses to three hypothetical scenarios.
