The process was structured in several stages:
Initial Screening – A short phone/video call with HR to go over background, skills, and motivation for the role. This stage also included basic questions about availability, notice period, and salary expectations.
Technical/Functional Interview – A panel or one-on-one interview focusing on role-specific knowledge. For example, in product/analysis roles, questions covered past project experience, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and tools used (e.g., Jira, SQL, Confluence).
Case Study / Scenario Questions – I was given a practical scenario to walk through (e.g., analyzing a process, defining requirements, or prioritizing a backlog). This tested both technical understanding and problem-solving approach.
Final Round / Hiring Manager Discussion – A deeper conversation about alignment with the team, company culture, and long-term goals. This round was less about technical details and more about collaboration style and mindset.
