Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Firstleaf en juil. 2021

      Entretien

The process was a roller-coaster. Applied 7/17. Had a phone screening with an outside recruiter on 7/21 and then had a video interview with a Firstleaf director on 7/26. I was then told I may not be a good fit because I was going out of town around the time they were doing a new employee training around 8/3. On 8/16 they reach out and said they canceled the training and put another training on the calendar for the beginning / middle of September. Had another video interview on 8/17 followed by a chat assessment on 8/20 which was also done via video. All was going well and I was excited for this opportunity. I was then set up for a final interview on 8/27 via video with the senior director. The senior director did not show up to the interview. After waiting a few minutes I reached out to the person who set up the interview. When they responded they apologized because "something came up" so we were going to have to reschedule the final interview for the following week. It was a little frustrating due to the lack of communication. Then I was pretty much ghosted. I reached out to the interview scheduler three different times during a two week span and no response. At that point I reached out to the recruiter who also was having difficult getting in-touch with the same person. As a last ditch effort (because I really wanted this job), I reached out to another director who I interviewed with early on. Once I connected with her, I miraculously got an interview the next day with the senior director and finally heard back from the interview scheduler I had tried connecting with the past few weeks. Besides the lack of communication, the most frustrating part of this process was that they changed the job description/ role of the position I applied for. The description changed from a sales/ account management type of role to a telemarketing/ call center role. Which was not the type of job I wanted. Despite that, I showed up to the final interview and then asked questions about this new role. The senior director said they wanted to hire me however he was unsure of the next training session. In the end, I decided that I no longer wanted to work for a company that seemed so unorganized. If you get jerked around in the interview process, I can only imagine the culture once you are inside the organization. I understand that FirstLeaf is a growing company so there will be growing pains that come along with that. However, a company of that size shouldn't have the communication issues they were displaying during this process.
