Entretien
Recruiting team was terribly behind schedule and thoroughly disorganized and unprofessional.
- Two weeks after submitting an application, I received a request for availability for a phone screen, which was followed by radio silence.
- After over two weeks, I received a note that First Mode was several weeks behind on scheduling interviews. Upon offering additional availability, the recruiter responded to me with a one-line, unformatted, grammatically incorrect email with several typos.
- At this point, I had an offer in hand from another company, and only once I mentioned this did the process move to a reasonable speed.
The interview process with the engineers was great - I enjoyed the interview process with them. It's rather unfortunate that a seemingly good company has such an unprofessional recruiting department.

Entretien
First was an interview with the recruiter who is non-technical and just types in the answers to the technical experience questions. Second interview two weeks later was a technical skill interview over Zoom with two engineers asking details about my work experience and a few technical questions. It was a pleasant experience, but I got a rejection within 24 hours.
