I Applied and Did a phone a phone screen which lasted about an hour answering questions about my background and use with technologies related to the position and got to know more about the company and it’s values, which closely align with my personal values and goals. Next was an in person interview with a technical assessment and a general conversation with two of the hiring managers at the company. I have to begin this with saying I was pretty down later to find out I wasn’t offered a position, that being said… it was the best interview I’ve ever been a part of! The full interview lasted about 2 and half hours , and I learned more than I could have imagined in such a short period of time. During the technical assessment your encouraged to ask questions and you can use google to research your questions and work through the problems but honestly the interviewers make it an enjoyable process despite interviewing being a somewhat tense situation. The team cares about your understanding and are generally respectful, kind, and professional but not uptight! It displays the amazing company culture there and even after not receiving an offer to work here I was given great tips and info to help me grow as a developer! After such a great experience it remains my goal to come back and earn a place on this team and grow with Finys as a developer and build a career here! Keep a lookout for when I post my offer accepted interview comments!

I had a technical telephonic interview and the interviewer was rude, arrogant and impolite. He did not even reply when i wished him morning and was in a really bad mood and I felt like that he wanted to take out it on me.
