I would strongly recommend staying away from these scammers who steal your ideas to improve their products without any intention of actually hiring. The interview process consisted of three stages. The first interview was with the Head of Product. Before the call, they asked me to test their platform and share my thoughts during the conversation. The second stage involved a product discovery task, where you’re asked to propose improvements to tailor their solution for the academic market. You’re expected to prepare a presentation in advance and deliver it to a group of stakeholders. The final step consists of four individual interviews with senior stakeholders, including their CEO. Although the Head of Product conducted the process professionally and provided timely updates, the final rejection completely undermined the experience. They ultimately decided not to hire anyone because they were looking for someone with exposure to the American market—something that could and should have been listed in the job description as a clear requirement. The product exploration task is time-consuming if you take it seriously, yet they do not offer any compensation. After six interviews, they also failed to provide any individual feedback. The fact that no one was hired due to a requirement that could’ve been identified early on suggests they were simply fishing for ideas without acknowledging candidates’ efforts. Frankly, it was a shameful and unprofessional experience. I will never apply again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are really passionate about our candidate experience and while we understand that our process goes into some in-depth, we feel our multi-stage interview process is designed to give every candidate a fair chance to demonstrate their skills and fit for the role. The product exploration task and presentation are intended to assess applied thinking and and to demonstrate skill, while also giving both sides a chance to get to know one another. Regarding US market knowledge, this was included as a requirement in the job description and was one of a number of factors in our initial candidate selection, rather than being the single most important factor.
