I applied for a Insights Manager position at the company at the beginning of the year. I had an initial interview with HR and then a great conversation with a VP, who informed me that I would either have another interview with a Director or move straight on to a case study. After that, things went silent on their end. I reached out multiple times asking about next steps and was told they were still interviewing and deliberating next steps. I was essentially ghosted after a month. Fast forward to August, the company reaches out again saying they have a new Insights Manager position available and wanted to check if I was still interested. I really enjoyed my conversations at the beginning of the year, so I told them that I was interested. They immediately set me up with a case study. It took me 8 hours to complete the case study and then I had to present to several members of the team. After completing the case study presentation, I was told that they would reach out to me once they finished up the case study round across applicants. Again, I waited 2 weeks and didn't hear anything, so I reached out and was told they were still wrapping things up. I waited another 2 weeks without hearing anything and reached out again for updates, where they finally rejected me for the position.
