J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Figure (Charlotte, NC) en juil. 2021

I was contacted by a recruiter from Insight Global and it took about 2 weeks to get me an interview. Interview process lasted one day.
I had to complete three 30 minute interviews and was asked the typical behavioral/situational based questions. They were not difficult at all. I expressed my interest in customer service and the experience that I have in my professional career. I left the interview feeling very confident that things had gone well. The next day the recruiter called me to advise me that they felt that I showed the ability to think quick on my feet, I answered the questions well and that I was qualified for the position, but they would not be moving me forward due to the fact that “We believe she would not want to be in the customer service role very long being that she talked about Human Resources a few times during the interview”. Excuse me?! I only mentioned HR potentially being a LONG TERM goal being that I was asked twice about my degrees in psychology. I mentioned that I love assisting people on the front end (hence why I was applying for a customer service role) and that maybe one day I’d like to work in HR. THATS IT. Otherwise I wouldn’t have even brought it up. It’s typical for employers to wonder where you would like to be in the future but god forbid you actually want to move up within the company instead of being stagnant. In no part of the discussion did I say hey, I don’t really want to do this I’d rather be in HR. But apparently that’s all they heard.
Absolutely RIDICULOUS.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you dealt with an upset customer.

The process took 3 weeks give or take. It starts with an initial phone screening followed by an in person interview with a technical assessment to see if you’re able to perform basic tasks. The last interview is held by a hiring manager or someone along those lines. The questions are straightforward and the interviewers were professional for the most part. I was asked if the compensation fits my needs multiple times from all three interviews to which I agreed. DO NOT fall for typical corporate verbiage where you’re being sold a dream. Don’t think you actually are being considered when it’s usually someone internal or someone else they have in mind, as they have to go through the interview processes to seem “fair”. You can think you did good with an interview just to be ghosted for a whole week when you’re told “We’ll get back to you as soon as possible”. Unprofessional and a lack of class on their part. Go somewhere where you’re valued and not led on with empty promises.

Give me a time you had to deal with a difficult client and how did you resolve it?

You'll receive an initial call with a recruiter within two-three days. Then they schedule an interview in-person with a supervisor or lead. Then you'll move onto your last interview with the hiring manager. It took three weeks and I understand because they want to give you enough time to schedule for the following week. For the in-person interview, there is a technical portion to ensure that you understand basic computer skills.
