I applied on internet job site, got contacted by their full time recruiter, took technical homework, and went through some rounds of interviews.

What was my hardest experience dealing with customers, and how did I handle it?
Took a test. Asked about web technologies: cache control headers, HTTP, DNS, coding languages, ticketing systems, past experiences supporting customers. Was quite a long process as they also wanted to know if you were a good fit into their culture and team

Contacted by Alexander M., one of Fastly's recruiters. Phenomenal experience. Had phone interview followed by a take home exam heavily centered on the service itself. After that, daylong interview.
Recruiter kept in touch throughout the entire process and it moved along fast. Knowing both the company and its values as well as the technical aspects of networking troubleshooting was invaluable.
Ended up not getting the position, only to be offered another position based on interview performance. Recruiter was professional and personal in a way that is hard to balance and showed true empathy.
Interview areas were focused equally on customer service, technical troubleshooting, and company values.
Whole recruiting process felt like a dialogue that enabled me to show my skills as well as to get to know the company and the team, fantastic.
