When I first went in to interview, I sat down with the kitchen manager (whom to this day is the best manager I ever had) and we did all the usuals of an interview. I was hired on the spot with the promise to become a cook after working hard for a couple months.

It was simple and straight forward. Long as I could work the hours expected and was prompt and on time. I was hired, not much needed to qualify though this was a entry level job though so that would be expected.
