I felt like the interviewer (hiring manager) showed no interest in talking to a person. I was informed that there will be 3 rounds in total and the first round is just a experience discussion with the hiring manager (no coding). The hiring manager was just weird as he started the call with can you answer DSA questions. My polite reply was "If the questions are related to data engineering, yes, I can answer several data structures and algorithms." After the first half hour of discussion about my experience he presented a coding question (Straight out of leetcode - difficult). He clearly expected the candidate to remember the answer and just write it down in 30 min time. Why do anyone expect a data engineer to solve a difficult leetcode question with DP is beyond my thinking. I totally found the interview experience to be weird and unwelcoming.
