I had a call with a recruiting manager who was incredibly unprofessional. He was late to the call. Asked me one question about how I got into the line of work I'm in and then asked me if I had any questions. Didn't ask any of the standard screen questions, told me nothing further about the role. He went on to say negative things about the area of work the role would be responsible for. He made it sound like I'd meet with the hiring manager and then ghosted me.

Entretien
I applied online and spoke with a recruiter. For a public company with thousands of employees, I was expecting a large company experience versus what I had encountered. The recruiter did not ask me any questions about my background or experiences so I don't understand how they can determine fit for the opening if they don't try to understand what I have done in my career. I felt that they wasted my time and I am not sure why they even followed up on my application. For a company with a 4 star Glassdoor rating and that appears to be doing well in this economy, I was disappointed with my candidate experience.

Entretien
Through networking, made contact with someone in the department who pulled my resume out of the stack. Got a phone interview in which I was pressed to divulge my current salary. The recruiter wouldn't offer a range for the position I was applying for. Brought me in for an interview. Discovered that between applying and interviewing the title and focus of the job had changed so much that I was no longer qualified or interested. Big waste of time.
