Terrible experience. Interviewers were cold and unfriendly. No smiles, no friendly small talk. My interviewers did zero selling, as if they didn't even need to sell me on the company (they did), and the interviews themselves felt more like interrogations. Interviewers' questions were mostly about tools/skills that were NOT listed in my resume - "Do you know Redshift? Do you know Elasticsearch? How would you write bash script to ... ?"
I was surprised because one of the main reasons I bothered to interview there in the first place was because I saw some of their youtube videos which made it seem like a fun, friendly startup. My interview experience was the exact opposite - it felt like a dour, miserable place. Hands down the worst interview I've had in my career so far.

An external recruiter contacted me regarding this position. I was given a coding challenge by a technical recruiter after expressing my interest. This was followed by a technical phone interview with the QA manager. The last step was an on-site interview with four people. The questions were mostly technical but not too difficult. Everyone was really nice, and one of the interviewers even gave me a tin of promotional mints. The only reason I'm not rating this as a "Positive" experience is that the company never got back to me afterwards.
