I emailed my resume directly to the company, and heard back from someone in a few days. The process was smooth and I was scheduled to speak with the product manager the following week. The conversation lasted about 45 minutes, and revolved around the usual questions about my "design process". I thought it went pretty well and did get "you should be hearing from us next week, by Monday at the latest" to continue on to the next conversation. What stops this one from being positive was that I never heard back from them at all. If this were a Google sized company, I would expect a delay or full-on ghosting, but they're not and didn't even send a standard turn-down email. That always strikes me as mildly unprofessional.
