The interview process took a little over a month. The hiring manager reached out to me directly on LinkedIn and provided more information about the role. After that I went through 3 more rounds: recruiter conversation about salary, case study review with a UX Research Manager and panel interviews.
The panel interviews were around 4-6 hours where I met with Senior UXRs, Product Managers and a designer. They consisted of behavioral question that focused on specific competency areas: problem solving, sustaining energy over time, collaboration, and strategy. Interviewers read off of a script in order to be “fair” in the process but it left the entire process to feel pretty sterile.
I was told that I would hear an update a week later, which I did in the form of a rejection email. Overall, the role wasn't a good fit from my side either.
