I applied on line. Got an email nearly 2 weeks later saying they got my application and wanted to have a phone interview. I replied as to availability. 5 days later they set interview for the following day. They sent second email thanking me and confirming. I sent an email after interview thanking her and thanking her colleague for the call. A week later she emailed I wasn't an exact match. Interview gave no incites into company and was performed by 25 yr. old who was barely there a year. Process took nearly a month with zero feedback as to what they liked and didn't like about you as candidate.

Entry level position in the Trust & Safety department. Initial contact with an Etsy recruiter was followed by several phone interviews and culminated in a several house in person interview with 5-6 members of the team. I was not ultimately selected for the role, but what I found very disappointing was that I received an automated email stating that I had not been selected. No personal email, and no way for me to thank the people I interviewed with. A professional process was really ruined with the poor choice of an automated, impersonal email.
