J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Essentia Water (Los Angeles, CA) en mars 2018
Entretien
Was told that all potential candidates go through a third party - Essentia gave me the name so I contacted him as I was very interested in the position. Seemed like an amazing job for an amazing company. He told me I would be a great fit and they were seeking applicants in the la or nyc area anyway since they were very health conscious cities. He said he would set up a phone screener with the vp the next Tuesday. After I sent him the thank you email he responded with a canned response stating “thank you for applying but Essentia has decided to go with other applicants at this time” basically lying to me when he said he would set up the phone screener and he claimed the hired ups had candidates in the Seattle area already. Why waste my time interviewing me and flat out lying stating they preferred candidates in la and nyc only to state they had candidates in the Seattle area already that were shortlisted? He gave me no other feedback which is odd for a recruiter. I found it odd that essentia choose to go with a third party rather than speak to candidates themselves especially since the job was posted on LinkedIn. Red flags all around. I also found it odd that essentia told me to reach out to the third party to begin with and even stating I may have been overqualified If she had shortlisted candidates. Very unethical way of hiring candidates. Wouldn’t want to work for a company that hires in such a fashion.
