J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Equitable Advisors (San Francisco, CA) en nov. 2018
Entretien
The overall process was straightforward. Met up with their recruiters (Regional VP's) at a career fair. They liked my attitude and confidence, set me up for an interview right away, followed up that interview and within two weeks I was sitting at their office in SF waiting to get hired. Declined, because base salary is too low. Sales job first and foremost.

Question 1
What traits do you have that would be ideal in a financial advisor?
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.

Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
