Entretien
I was contacted several times by the district shop manager for a phone interview via email. I responded to each one with no response from her; each new email she sent was clear to me that she dd not look at my previous responses. It was already a indication of lack of communication (which turned out to be worse once I started the job). Eventually she just asked me to join a group interview an asked for my availability. I indicated my availability for the rest of the week and the upcoming. No response. I again emailed her my availability for the nest week. She finally emailed me back about 2 weeks later asking for an interview for tomorrow (which I had indicated was outside my availability). I re-arranged somethings and made it to the group interview with 2 other candidates. The interview itself was simple and straightforward. If you have retail experience, you will be fine. The interview was with the district shop manager and the regional shop manager (both of which showed up at least 20 minutes late). They were both personable and had questions ready. I interviewed at one location but was offered employment at a different one.

Question 1
How would you sell a product you know nothing about? How would you change your language in order to sell a product? Describe a situation where you identified a potential problem and handled it before it escalated or became an actual problem.
There was a two step process. It was easy, I felt encouraged. I was offered a position within the week. I was asked questions that I was more than capable of answering but challenging enough that I could show my personality.
Interviewed with the district and regional sales manager along with the AGM. Basic interview questions like past experience and scenario role play. I heard back from the hiring manager within a week.

Average interview. Did an initial phone screen with district manager and then a zoom interview with AGM and SM. Mix of common interview questions and behavioral/fit questions. They really care that you are committed to the Equinox fitness lifestyle and fit the brand.
