I initially applied for a Project Manager position in the summer of 2017, but I withdrew my application. Their screening process is exhaustive. There is an online application, personality assessment, phone interview, skills assessment, and then, if all of these are completed in a satisfactory manner, you are invited to an on-site interview. I applied for this position on a whim after I got an automated HR email about open positions. I was offered a phone interview within less than a day from applying, and the phone interview with the TS employee went well. It is really more focused on them explaining the company and the position so that you can better gauge whether you would like the position. I really liked my interviewer and she spoke enthusiastically about working for Epic. The skills assessment is proctored via webcam. It honestly feels highly invasive, and is largely why I chose not to pursue further the first time around, but I completed it this time around. I would rate the test difficulty as moderate. There is a coding portion with a mock programming language. You don't necessarily know how to code, but it definitely helps to have some background with logic and more advanced levels of math. I come from a liberal arts background and they knew this when they interviewed me. After waiting about a week and a half post-assessment and receiving no response, I emailed HR to follow up. Within a few hours, they replied saying they were moving on to other candidates. I'm not upset or surprised by the outcome given I don't come from a STEM background, but I think the manner in which I was issued the rejection showed a lack of professional courtesy.

Consisted of a full day of interviews and additional sessions to learn more about the company. Overall enjoyable and informative day that gave me a good look of the company and what my role would be.
