I received an email saying "After reviewing your initial application, we'd like to invite you to complete the next step in the application process." And was then asked to complete an assessment. I completed the assessment, and I know I did well (I have done many similar ones and consistently score very high). I never heard another word from the company. Ghosted. Even if I did not perform well, anyone getting the message I got would expect at least a canned decline. Unless you like taking tests, I don't recommend going through the effort.
