The interview process was long, daunting, and didn't make sense...first I interviewed with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, and then....an executive who works for the parent company who I wouldn't really interact with at all? The executive was condescending, rude, disrespectful, and I'm pretty sure RACIST. It felt as though I was set up to fail the last interview with the executive from the get-go. He'd cut me off mid-sentence, was typing on his computer half the time (rude and disrespectful) and when I stated I wasn't familiar with a tool or platform, he'd ask follow-up questions about it. Why???? I'm not going to magically know the tool on the third follow-up question. To this day it doesn't make sense why they had me interview with him, but I count my lucky stars I did, because it saved me from A LOT of potential heartache and stress. If he's representative of the type of people I'd be working with, then God did me a big solid by having them reject me.
