I applied online and was asked for a phone screen by a recruiter 24 hours later. I scheduled the screen and answered the “getting to know you” questions. I received a confirmation of the phone screen. Today is the day, and I’ve been waiting almost an hour past the scheduled time. This is unprofessional. Looking for a job is time consuming and takes a ton of energy. Please think about being more transparent with potential candidates. No one likes to feel like they’ve been wasting time.

The interview process at Ensemble consists of phone screens and live Teams interviews. I first interviewed for the Accounts Receivable position 3 weeks ago. I had a phone screen that lasted about 15-20 minutes, where the recruiter asked specifics regarding my AR experience/knowledge, and then I had my live Teams interview the very next day. I received a call the day after my live interview from the recruiter explaining that the team I interviewed with thought I'd be a better match on a different team with a different client due to my experience. I accepted another interview the next week with a different team, and I thought that interview went very well compared to the first interview. The team I first interviewed with seemed uninterested and unorganized and seemed to be coming up with random interview questions to ask off the top of their head. After my second interview, I was told I'd hear back within a week or two with their decision. I heard back a few days later and was told they wanted to set up a third interview with more members of the team. I agreed and interviewed again. Same interview questions each time with some random ones thrown into the mix. This is A LOT of interviewing and being tossed around for more and more interviews just to not be offered the job. The recruiter even said, "We're hiring for so many positions, and we have a lot of teams, so you can keep interviewing with different teams to see who might be the best match." The interview process for this company seems very unorganized and unnecessary. I also want to point out that only 2 of the 7 individuals I met who interviewed me were dressed professionally, and not even very professional at that. The rest were in hoodies and, to be honest, looked like they just woke up. I've never sat in interviews before where the manager or supervisor interviewing me looked like that. This whole experience gave me red flags regarding the company as a whole, and I've STILL been receiving emails to interview AGAIN. I don't know what more I could be interviewing for after I've already done three...
