Every applicant should be applying online. Do your best in researching the company website and Linkedin. Make sure you include cover letter and resume that matches keywords. This helps your application go through. The HR recruiter for the region will reach out to schedule a phone interview. Be honest and ask questions after (questions that are relevant to your work-life). They will sometimes tell you at the end of the call if you made it to next steps. Follow-up with thank you email regardless. For second interview, it will be three people: Sales director, Regional Director, and HR person. You will get these names in advance so look them up and prepare to speak to their best interests. Try to dress for the job +1. Be at least 15 minutes early. Do your best. Ask questions. Thank them sincerely. Follow-up email to all. If you make it to the last and final round, repeat the same process and you will be fine. Negotiate your salary after your offer, within $5k or so. They should be happy you would.

The recruiter over the phone shared the base salary for this job was $45k. I thanked her for her time, but mentioned i was looking in the 6-figure range. She encouraged me to come in for an interview anyway, that i had the experience they were looking for, etc., etc. So I did. Held an interview with the Regional Director. He asked my salary expectations. I shared the range that was shared with me over the phone and asked if it was negotiable and that I was looking in the area of 6-figures. He expressed his disappointment at being unable to hire me, and that they could not make an offer like that. Obviously that is a huge jump, but feel the recruiter should be aware of the ranges and not wasted my or his time.

Had 3 interviews. All were with very positive people and great experience. the interviews with each were very comfortable settings. The last interview was to get to know me and me to get to know what the expectations of me are.
