The first interview was conducted over Zoom followed by additional Zoom and in-person interview(s) with other staff members. All questions are direct and scenario-based and allow the interviewer to gain a sense of your experience and how you would contribute to their workplace .I completed interviews with 3 different departments. All led with information on the base salary and/or stated I was overqualified for the positions I applied for. I appreciated their transparency, but it still was a bit strange… it was almost as if they didn’t want to proceed with the interviews, but felt obligated to meet me. All interviewers expressed very little enthusiasm as if it’s just a job, which may be somewhat telling.
