Interview process was nice. Instead of having multiple individual interviews, I had 1 panel interview with 6 people. It was a little intimidating at first, but I ended up really liking the format. The questions were job specific and I had plenty of opportunity to ask questions at the end. The interview felt more like a conversation than an interrogation.

I got a call and booked a time for the interview. Then we had a phone interview. The person told me I was a good candidate but my salary expectation was too high since they have a budget set and can't go above it. She asked if I was interested in continuing the interview knowing that I would have to lower my salary expectation and I decided not to so we finished the interview. I appreciated having the frank discussion before spending time on interviews and possibly tests. I was welcome to let them know if I changed my mind later and it was all done in less than five minutes.
