After a truly painful interview with HR that left many red flags due to her sour and unpleasant reflection of the company, I was surprised to be called back for a second round interview.
Disjointed second round interview with a glitchy Teams interview and then a request for an unclear design challenge (AKA outdated practice when a portfolio is provided) that was reviewed by people that should not be involved in marketing and design (CFOs and another HR rep).
I spent over 5 hours in interviews to be completely ghosted and never followed up with after emails were sent.
The initial feelings from their HR person prevailed.
In hindsight, I feel like I may have been used for information gathering rather than being considered for an actual role. My time was menial.
