1st round was a test in which I was asked to build schema keeping mins some common reporting use cases and build sql queries to for the same. 2nd round was technical discussion on your solution of 1st round and some basic fundamentals of databases. The questions in test were more or less straight forward with only tricky thing being coming up with an ideal design which balances the best practices and the use cases. It was clear that interviewer did not have enough experience in database development as practical scenarios were not being considered in discussion instead he had theoretical knowledge on the subject and was expecting same to be blurred out instead of a design discussion.
