Cons:
I was contacted for a screening call, which went well, and then invited to a virtual panel interview with four team members. The panel asked thoughtful questions about my leadership and supervision style, and at the end, I was told I would hear back within about a week. I was even asked about my potential start date. After the interview, I sent thank-you emails to all four interviewers but never received any response or update, despite the clear indication of follow-up. This lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing and left a negative impression of the organization.
Advice to Management:
Please ensure timely communication with candidates, even if the decision is not to move forward. Ghosting applicants after investing significant time in your process reflects poorly on the organization and undermines the respectful culture you aim to present during interviews.
