I got a HackerRank coding test about multithreading. Then, I got a phone screen with the recruiter. The recruiter asked very basic questions. Next was a technical call with a software engineer. He basically wanted to know if you can implement an online storage system. It was very conceptual and he expects you to know things in depth. However, in the job listing, all they put was that they wanted a Java and Python developer. They did not say that they wanted you to know about cloud computing or anything else besides coding.

Online code challenge, Recruiter Screen, Technical Screen, Onsite Interview (4 hours)
The online code challenge was about reading multiple files in a directory with 10 threads. The Recruiter screen was just basic logistical questions and "Why Egnyte?" The technical screen was further questions about the code challenge and how to implement online file storage software. The onsite was four one hour interviews.
This was a standard software interview, though they held it over the lunch hours and only provided me with a bag of chips to eat. I was starving the whole time.
I felt the recruiter asked many inappropriate questions about where else I was interviewing. One interviewer stared at his computer the whole time and ignored me while I solved the question he gave me. The office itself was unimpressive and the employees did not seem excited to be there. To be honest, I had read some of the other Glassdoor reviews about harassment and toxic work environment and only used this interview for practice.
