This is the second time I got an interview call from Edwards, and they ask the same question. "Are you a PR holder or a citizen?" I do not understand why they don't look into the candidate application closely before wasting everyone's time and efforts. And if they really want to know someone's visa status, they should put it on their online application/ questionnaire. (Unless it is unethical to do so)
These two are the only questions in the application related to candidate's visa status:
"Are you currently authorized to work in Singapore?"; "National ID Type".
My interview both the time was as follows:
[Interviewer]: We saw you have applied to multiple positions. Are you a citizen or PR holder of Singapore?
[My answer]: No, I am not.
[My question] Is this visa status a mandatory requirement for only this position or all the positions in Singapore?
[Answer] : Yes
[In my head]: Slow claps for the guy
