The actual interview process went great. I was offered the position, received the signed offer, fingerprinting, drug test all before the background check was complete. There was a lot of conversations about the "why"my credit wasn't perfect, which was rather intrusive and required a trip down memory lane that I would rather have left in the past. None-the-less, I made the effort to respond to their inquiry. In the end, the background check came back, and the offer was withdrawn, without explanation of why. The entire process took several weeks. The Financial advisor was let down, The recruiter was let down, and I was let down. I had two financial advisors that went to bat on my behalf, to no avail. The background check created a negative for what could have been an awesome experience, and EJ lost out on an awesome employee match because they had life happen. Pretty crappy. In all fairness, at the end, you do receive a copy of the background check, and who to contact...but at that point, you have lost the job you sought after , they have ALL your information and know everything about your life, with no desire to work for the company. Very invasive feeling that ended up in denial. Would not recommend to anyone, except a fresh high schooler, as everyone I know has experienced life.
