I first applied online. I was able to upload my resume, and the webpage tried to fill in the blanks with my resume, but didn't do a very good job. I had to correct a lot of it. Once I filled all of that in (just the usual job history, schooling) I got asked to consent for a drug screening and background check. After that I had to answer about 50 questions about myself ( basically trying to figure out your personality). A few days later, i got a phone call asking to set up a phone interview; i set it up for a few days later. The phone interview went well, I was asked the usual "why do you want to work for Eaton" and such. I then was asked to go to the local health department to take a drug screening. A few days later i got a call back saying that my background check and drug test came back fine, then I set up an in-person interview. I did that a few days later. It was an easy interview ( what would you do if you saw a fellow coworker stealing, how would you handle working 10 hours days often). After the interview, I was given an orientation date. The interview was easy, and was painless. The entire process took about 2 and a half weeks.
