Interviewed with EverFi in March 2022. Three rounds of interviews: (1) discussion with recruiter, (2) 2-3 conversations with department head and direct supervisors, and (3) 45-minute mock renewal presentation. The first two rounds of the interview process are easy, conversations flow, people you meet are friendly and informative. During the third round (presentation), interviewers aren't as engaging or friendly. Interviewed twice and presented twice. In both instances, I waited 6 weeks (following up 3-4 times post presentation). Eventually receiving a generic email informing me they went with another candidate. Call me entitled, but I'd expect after 4-5 conversations and a presentation that takes a week to put together, you'd receive some sort of feedback or the benefit of an email from the hiring manager directly. I could be bitter for not receiving an offer, but I walked away feeling like they could have been more considerate of my time and effort as an interested candidate. Seems like other reviews feel the same way though.

I applied online for an account management role. A week later, a recruiter reached out inviting me for a phone interview. She was running late and asked to rescheduled after I'd reached back out. It happens! We were able to reschedule for the next day. Our conversation went pretty well, however the recruiter candidly mentioned to me they were just on the verge of filling that role. She asked me if I'd be interested in another role, and began to heavily pitch it to me. Unfortunately it was of no interest to me, and we ended up getting off the phone with promises that the recruiter would follow up in the coming days. Truthfully, I had forgotten as I was already turned off by the lack of professionalism and under the impression that the role I had applied for was filled. However I did expect a more personal form of communication given the circumstances. Instead, I was sent a generic email saying that I was not selected for the role. Very weird.
